EDvisor : Summer Internship '21
As a part of our college curriculum, the beginning of the final year at Unitedworld Institute of Design is marked by an external organizational internship. My internship was under the mentorship of Dr. Sukanto Roy, a design leader with Ernst & Young, who is currently working with the United Nations to create governance frameworks using systems thinking principles for grassroot development in India in the areas of Health, Agriculture, Education and Livelihood.
The core focus of the internship was to learn both qualitative & quantitative design research and build on the learning to craft digital experiences for ICT (Information & Computer Technology) applications in the vernacular languages as well as in english. My chosen vertical was Education and I was tasked with working on a proof of concept for an Education Monitoring Tool.
